The Power of His Love & Grace

And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Romans 16:20

Grace is the ultimate defense against which the devil has no power. When you try to earn God's approval through self-effort, the devil gains control over you by highlighting your shortcomings. This allows him to dominate your life. Similarly, if you seek God's protection and healing based on your own deeds, the devil, being an expert accuser, only needs to point out one failure to shatter your faith. As a result, you mentally and inwardly disqualify yourself from receiving the blessings you trust the Lord for.

Grace qualifies us for divine protection. Through Jesus' sacrifice, those who are in Him have the right to walk in divine health and safety. When the devil accuses you and lists your failures to challenge your belief in God's protection, you can confidently point to Jesus' blood, which has already paid for all your shortcomings. By anchoring your faith in grace, the God of peace will rule over your fears and fill you with unwavering confidence in His protection.

Understanding His grace leads to a profound revelation of the depth of love bestowed upon us by our Heavenly Father. Such is the extent of His love that He sent His only begotten Son to bear the burden of our sins on the cross, granting us the ability to approach His throne of grace with boldness. This act ensures that we are not left wandering like sheep without a shepherd, but instead, we are embraced with profound love and care from our Abba Father. As His children, when we call upon Him, we can be assured of His attentive response. Even in our state of sinners, with nothing to offer but brokenness, shame, sins, and disqualifications, God demonstrated His perfect love for us. Such love is truly beyond comprehension!

According to the Word of God, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us" (1 John 4:18–19). If you find yourself filled with fear today, take a moment to reflect on this: Do you truly comprehend the depth of God's love for you? Fear cannot be reasoned away, but when you receive a revelation of His perfect love for you, every fear in your life will be dispelled. The more you grasp His love for you, the more fearlessly you will live, even in perilous times.
