The Truth About Christmas

From our family to yours, Merry Christmas! Let’s honor this day by reflecting on the unmatched love of God and the joy brought through Jesus Christ, our Savior.

Christmas is more than a holiday; it’s the most profound story of love—God’s love for the world. As John 3:16 declares, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son.” It’s a love so unfathomable that God sacrificed His Son, Jesus, to bring us salvation. Imagine offering your beloved child for a stranger, let alone a criminal. Yet, God’s love surpasses all understanding, making Christmas a celebration of the Savior who came to redeem us.

The birthplace of Jesus, Bethlehem, holds remarkable significance—it means "House of Bread." Placed in a feeding trough, the baby Jesus symbolized the Bread of Life offered to all. This act was not arbitrary but a divine reflection of God’s provision and sacrifice. Jesus, born in humility, came to empathize with our struggles and bear the weight of humanity’s sin. Through His death and resurrection, He became the ultimate substitute, fulfilling the righteousness of God. Just as sin entered the world through one man, Adam, redemption came through one man, Jesus, whose obedience brings eternal life to all who believe.

This Christmas, remember that Jesus is the center of the celebration. Beyond the gifts and festivities, His birth signifies hope, peace, and abundant life. Jesus didn’t come to judge but to save and bring reconciliation with God. If you’ve not embraced this gift, today is the perfect time. Open your heart to the Savior, and experience His transformative love and grace.
